If you do not enjoy the eager participation or at least tepid enthusiasm of sales people with your marketing then the thing is crippled. Businesses up and down the country spend thousands on glossy brochures that sit in unopened boxes inside the boots of rep cars.

If field sales doesn’t like what you do then it will not be used. The material will not even be mentioned beyond the odd moan or sarcastic comment. SOB: must be the key objective – even if it means compromise in the short term. SOB stands for Sales On Board and it must be at the very top of your marketing plan objectives.
